Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Biscoff Spread (creamy)
  • 4 oz softened Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 8 oz White or Milk Chocolate Chips (for coating)

Optional Toppings

  • Crushed Biscoff Cookies
  • Sea Salt Flakes
  • Cocoa Powder
  • Finely chopped toasted pecans or almonds
  • Mini dark chocolate chips
  • A pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Combine the Filling Ingredients: In a medium bowl, beat together softened cream cheese and Biscoff spread until smooth and fully combined. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until the mixture is thick but pliable, perfect for shaping.
  2. Shape the Biscoff Truffle Bites: Scoop small spoonfuls of the mixture and roll them into uniform, bite-sized balls with your hands. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and chill for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  3. Melt the Chocolate Coating: Gently melt your choice of white or milk chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, stirring frequently to avoid burning and ensure a smooth dipping texture.
  4. Dip and Decorate: Using a fork or a dipping tool, coat each chilled truffle completely in melted chocolate. Return them to the parchment-lined tray and decorate with optional toppings immediately before the chocolate sets.
  5. Chill Until Set: Place the coated truffles back in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes or until the chocolate is firm and glossy, ready to be enjoyed.

Notes

  • Use room temperature cream cheese for a smoother filling.
  • Chill the filling mixture before shaping to help with rolling.
  • Chill the coated truffles after dipping to maintain their shape and texture.
  • Melt chocolate slowly to avoid burning and graininess.
  • Use high-quality chocolate for a richer taste and shinier finish.
  • Customize the size of your truffles based on your preference or occasion.
  • Substitute cream cheese with mascarpone or dairy-free alternatives if desired.
  • For vegan adaptation, use plant-based cream cheese and chocolate.
  • Make gluten-free by using certified gluten-free Biscoff spread and toppings.
